 FAQs

  • A baby must have their first DTAP vaccine to get pierced; this is usually done at 2 months old.

    The best age for babies is between 2 and 15 months, after that we recommend piercing at age 4 or 5, when a child is able to remain still and has some understanding of the process.

  • No, we pierce with earrings that come in sterile packaging that are compatible with the piercing instrument.

  • I do not have numbing cream, there can in risk in increased infection with use. Those who most often want it are ages 2-6, who may have fear about the upcoming piercing.

    If you want numbing cream I recommend buying 5% Lidocaine and applying 40min-1 hour before your appointment for peak benefit.

  • No, Lobe piercing must be cleaned twice daily with the solution I will provide you and turned 360 degrees after cleaning and can be changed out after 2 months. For cartilage clean twice daily but NEVER turn them - earrings must remain in for at least 3 months before changing them

Our piercing Process.

After meeting the nurse you will both decide where in your home the piercing will be performed.

Consent from will be signed & earring selection will be confirmed.

The nurse piercer will set up a sterile field, cleanse hands and don gloves.

A healthy ear/skin inspection will be made.

Ear will be sterilized with alcohol pad. A surgical marker will be used to place dots for earring placement.

After confirming placement piercing will be made and repeated on the other ear.

Aftercare instructions will be given during and after the piercing is made.

Nurse will leave you with aftercare solution and written instructions.

A 24 hour follow up will be made by the nurse via email or text.
